Plastic free July

engeco are proud supporters of Plastic Free July and will be working hard to say no to single use plastic for the month of July (and hopefully longer!).

Marc Allen was recently interviewed by the ABC in Australia about some work he has been involved in with a local community group in Perth to promote reduction in single use plastic. In this initiative, restaurants are encouraged to allow customers to pick up takeaway food in their own containers, reducing the amount of single use takeaway plastic that is used. There is a big opportunity to encourage something similar in Singapore and throughout the SE Asia region.
